The Rainbow has been a favorite hang-out for rockers from the Who to John Lennon to Led Zepplin for years. Before being a classic "after-show" haunt, this was the location of the Villa Nova Restaurant, where Joe DiMaggio met Marilyn Monroe for a blind date, and Vincent Minelli proposed to Judy Garland. The Villa Nova has since relocated to Newport Beach, CA.
