This incredible art deco hotel was previously named the Sunset Towers Apartments, and was the first high-rise building on the strip. It was a stop-off for just about every Hollywood star. The private St. James Club of Britain bought and restored it, and boasted Liza Minelli, Elizabeth Taylor and David Bowie as members. It has since been sold, but is still a favorite among luminaries.
