In 1999, Red Hare Graphics and JHP Images teamed up to build a virtual walking tour of each of the most popular streets in America. We began with the famed Sunset Strip. The plan was to photograph the front of every address on both sides of the street, create a page with information about each location, and link them all together so that the user could go from address to address, virtually covering the entire street - including intersections! We succeeded in completing the Sunset Strip between Crescent Heights and Doheny. Many of the locations included historical facts and photos.

The intent of this site, as a business, was to make the tours free to users, then make additional info available for stores and venues who paid a fee to have expanded exposure on the site. Unfortunately, we didn't have the resources to accomplish the ultimate goal, and the project came to a halt in mid 2000.

However, Red Hare Graphics has kept the unfinished site on its server ever since, and individual pages are still accessed often. Now, it is simply a snapshot of the Sunset Strip as it was in 1999. We may re-work the site at some point to re-align its content as more of a static informational site, but for now, it remains live as is.
